The English language was expected to acquire its millionth word around April 29, according to Global Language Monitor, an organization in Austin, Texas, which uses software to track and analyze trends in language. They've now delayed the predicted date until sometime in June. (There's even a countdown clock: http://www.languagemonitor.com/).
